Don't own a horse but want to ride?  For those who do not want to make a commitment to owning their own horse for one reason or another, our lease program allows you to enjoy the benefits of a horse owner without all the responsibility of it.  We have horses that are suitable for the most novice of riders!  You may practice your riding in the arena as well as enjoy a peaceful day on the trail.  Kids want a horse?  This is the best way to find out if it is really their passion or if it is a phase they will outgrow by the time you have purchased the horse, all the tack and are fully committed!  We provide all the basic tack, supplies, and care of the horses and you come out and ride!  For those who want to enjoy lots of ride time, we offer a monthly lease for just $150 / month which includes unlimited riding!  For those less fortunate that have a busy schedule and can only find time to ride once or twice a month, we offer a day lease for just $65 / day.  Our boarders and monthly lease holders may bring a guest for a special day lease price!  We also offer riding lessons for those who need a little help getting started.  So grab a friend, slip your boots on and head out to the ranch for a peaceful trail ride!

Horse Leasing

VJ Ranch is a quiet, peaceful horse boarding and leasing facility in New River, Arizona.  We border the Tonto National Forest for miles of trail riding!  We provide a safe and comfortable environment for your horse and all the necessary accommodations for you.   We are here to offer a helping hand if one is needed.  We are also home to a dog rescue and always have wonderful dogs available for adoption!

We offer an array of different stalls in order to best fit you and your horse's personal needs.  We offer the standard 16 x 16 fully covered stalls,  20 x 20 fully covered stalls, 16 x 23 fully covered stalls with 24 hour turnout and 30 x 60 stalls.  Our accommodations include a large arena, round pen, wash rack, covered tack room with refrigerator and private access to the forest!
